1961 Martin D-28

by Luke the Drifter on March 24, 2011

1961 Martin D-28 in a no reserve auction. OK, it doesn’t look like a D-28. Seller states it started life that way but had a bunch of upgrade work done at the Martin factory, most notably the addition of a Mike Longworth D-45 Neck. A new bridge was added as well as the pearl inlay on the top. The guitar was completely refinished by Martin. Seller says the cost of the work at Martin was 5K and will provide all documentation with the guitar. Cool.
