1941 Martin D-18

by Luke the Drifter on August 7, 2010

Just a little over a day to go on this auction for a 1941 Martin D-18. Here’s another one of those ultimate used guitars. Elvis (The King) used a 1942 Martin D-18 up until about 1955. Seller states he or she obtained this from the son of the original owner. Seller also states the guitar has been refretted and had the a neck reset sometime in the past. Additionally, the bridge and saddle may be replacements. Pretty standard work for a Martin of this vintage. Excellent pictures along with black light photos from this high feedback seller.
