The Committee is back! Beautiful old top-of-the-line Hofner, all original, plays great. Old, ugly but stable neck repair, and there's a small crack running off of the treble side of the nut--both are priced in. The original pickups sound great, and the neck pickup in particular is really strong. Treble tone pot not working. Now the good stuff--straight neck, very low action, and how about style points? Multiple-bound pearloid purfling on the top back and sides, inlays everywhere, solid spruce top (these were often laminate, and this guitar has great tone acoustically), beautiful laminated bird's eye maple back and sides. Comes with an older (probably 40's/50's) vintage case that looks the part.
