1929 Gibson L-1 in a no reserve auction. Description is pretty minimal here. Pictures are good. This appears to be in remarkably good condition for it’s age. The top on this looks to us to be something other than spruce, perhaps mahogany or maple. They did use mahogany on these. It would appear that one set of tuners is shall we say less than original. This is the guitar most associated with Robert Johnson (you already know that). With what looks like the original case, which seller says is rough. Very cool.
