1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard Left Handed

by Luke the Drifter on October 26, 2012

1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard Left Handed in a no reserve auction. ’59 Bursts rarely come up for auction, but you know that. And a lefty to boot. This one was consigned to Heritage by the U.S. Marshalls Service, Profits benefit victims of the Aspen Energy Oil and Gas Investment Scheme. There is also a lefty ’60 Burst with a repaired headstock crack that is part of the same auction, again consigned by the Marshalls Service. We are going to opine the scammer was a lefty. Seller says this is undoubtedly the same guitar pictured with John McEnroe on the cover of the Guitar Aficionado, Vol. 1/No. 4. Read the description and take a look at the pictures. Take a look at the ’60 too. With OHSC. Cool in spades.
