Our Tune of the Day for Tuesday, May 8 2012 is “In A Broken Dream” by the Australian group Python Lee Jackson featuring guest vocalist Rod Stewart. Written by Python keyboardist Dave Bentley and recorded in 1970, Bentley felt that his voice was wrong for the tune so brought in Rod Stewart for the session. Stewart was purportedly paid for the session work with a new set of seat covers for his car.
