This week’s entry in the Deadhead Corner Tune of the Day is “The Weight” from the Nassau Coliseum from the spring 1990 tour in honor or the passing of Levon Helm. This was the Dead’s debut performance of the Band classic. The boys were in fine form this tour and returned to the Nassau Coliseum after a five year hiatus. Check track 14 for The Weight.
