1940s Gibson Banner Southern Jumbo in a no reserve auction. Seller puts this in Good condition and says it’s 1940s. We agree and lean toward the early 40s, based on the fact that this one has a truss rod. Seller says there is an open center seam crack and the bridge is lifting slightly. Other than that the guitar is crack free. Seller also says the original frets are worn and the original finish is heavily weather checked, nicked and scratched. Seller adds the the tuners are replacements. With OHSC. Very, very cool.
