1949 Bigsby Solid Body in a no reserve auction. This one graces the cover of the catalog for Heritage Auctions’ April 20-21 Dallas Vintage Guitars and Musical Instruments Signature Auction. There is an extensive description of the instrument with the listing well worth checking out if only for the historical perspective. Also addressed are the guitar’s issues and the anomalies that might lead one to question that this guitar is in fact the fourth solid body electric Paul Bigsby made and not a copy. With OHSC.
