Our Tune of the Day for Wednesday, March 21, 2012 is “Trying To Get To You” by The King. This was recorded in 1955 at Sun with great Scotty Moore on guitar. Elvis never sounded better than when Scotty, Bill Black (and later D.J. Fontana) were behind him (though “From Elvis in Memphis” comes close).
