1942 Gibson L-50 in a no reserve auction. Seller puts it in overall Very Good condition. Seller say’s it’s missing it’s pickguard and has newer tuners. Seller adds this has a big neck. We are noting lack of a truss rod, indicating wartime production (metal shortages). Big necks by today’s standards got even bigger to compensate for the missing truss rod. Seller also says there are no cracks breaks or repairs. This has a solid spruce top. We find these can sound incredibly sweet. Cool.
