Our Tune of the Day for February 14, 2012 is “Hush” by Joe South from 1970. The track was released as a single. Billy Joe Royal and Deep Purple both released this and did very well with it prior to Joe, but we like Joe’s version the best. After all, he wrote it. Smoking. And check that bass. We wish The King had covered this one. Very, very cool.
