1961 Gibson Country Western in a no reserve auction. This one had a minimum bid of $1500 on it. We thought that was pretty modest for this and obviously someone else thought so too. Seller puts it in Good condition with heavy weather checking to the top and medium wear to the frets. Seller adds it has a tight back crack on the back near the lower bout. Seller says the neck is straight and a neck reset is optional. We gather from the description that there is some room for the saddle to come down. Speaking of which this one has the more desirable fixed saddle. With HSC, seller doesn’t speak to the originality of that. Very cool.
