1955 Gibson Country Western in a no reserve auction. Seller puts this in one in Fair condition and notes it has an oversized replacement pickguard that may be hiding a repair. We love the pickguard, which rises to the level of folk art. Seller says the finish appears to be original and adds there is evidence of pickguard removal on the bass side. Seller notes there is some separation and missing wood at the bottom joint. It would be nice if there was a photo of that. The tuners are replacements and the bridge may have been sanded down. With soft case. Very funky. Very cool.
