1963 Fender Telecaster Custom in Black in a no reserve auction. Seller notes it is a rare color for a Telecaster Custom. We agree. We don’t think we’ve ever seen one for sale. Seller notes that at one the the guitar was fitted with a single ply white pickguard and a DeArmond acoustic neck pickup (pictured). Some routing was done to accommodate this. Seller adds the original pickguard and neck pickup was in the case. Seller has put the original pickguard and neck pickup back but not re-soldered it. Seller states the original neck pickup has been tested and checks out at 5.6. Excellent pictures and description here. With original white tolex case, strap, cord and ashtray. Very, very cool.
