1959 Martin D-28E. The “E” stands for “Electric.” Seller has it listed as a D-18E, but it would appear to be a D-28E from the appointments. Seller notes the quality of the Brazilian Rosewood on the back (pictured). We have never seen one of these come up. Here is a link to George Gruhn’s Rare Bird column which appeared in Guitar Player in December 1982 on this model. Seller states the guitar is all original. It has a few cracks in the top which are not all the way through and some scratches etc. Seller adds the frets have recently been leveled and the pickups have been adjusted. Seller has more pictures available on request. With 2004 Martin tweed case. Very unusual. Very cool.
