1960s Truetone Speed Demon in a no reserve auction. Truetone was the house brand of Western Auto Supply. This model was manufactured by Kay. Seller say’s it’s late ’50s or early ’60s. We are going to call it ’60s based on the headstock logo. Seller says the guitar is all original with the exception of one knob. Seller adds it has a straight neck and good action. Good pictures here. Take a look. We like the “Speedbump” pickups. With period correct case. Seller isn’t sure if that is original. Nice looking example. Cool.
