1953 National 1124 in a no reserve auction. Seller is calling it a “Rare National Solid Body Electric from 1953.” We’ll add that it’s an 1124. Seller posts a video of Ry Cooder (with John Lee Hooker) playing an 1123 which is the single pickup version of this. Seller says it’s all original as far as he can tell. We’ll chime in and say we believe the pickup selector knob should be a white chicken foot. Seller also says everything works and it sounds very cool. With original case. Very cool.
