1978 Gretsch Super Axe 7681 in a no reserve auction. We seem to recall that on the prototypes of this model (“High Roller”) the inlays were actually scored as dice and the roll added up to the fret marked. Pretty cool. Legend has it that Gretsch backed off the gambling theme and did away with that when these went into production. Go figure. Seller puts this one in Very Good condition with minor dings and scratches. Minimal fret ware and checking. Seller doesn’t say anything about a case. Nice clean looking example. Cool.
