1988 Fender Stratocaster in Gun Metal Blue in a no reserve auction. We like early American Standards. The build quality of the first two years (’87 and ’88) is exceptional. Custom shop level quality in a production guitar. Legend has it many of these have Brazilian rosewood boards. Seller puts this one in good condition with original case and paperwork. It looks all there to us. The guitar that saved Fender. Cool.
