1940s Gretsch Cat’s Eye Synchromatic in a no reserve auction. Yet another one from Heritage’s 2011 May Beverly Hills Signature Vintage Guitars & Musical Instruments Auction. Seller states it has medium play wear, considerable checking and some chipping to the finish. Seller adds the binding is in good condition and the end pin is missing. Additionally, the guitar could use a neck reset. Take a look at the pictures here. We love the big block inlays, the high end Klusons and of course the Cat’s Eye sound holes. With OHSC. Very, very cool.
