1929 National Duolian in a no reserve auction. Seller originally thought it was a ’31 but thinks it may be earlier. Good pictures here. The fretboard looks like it’s going to need some help if one were to not use this exclusively for slide, but this sort of thing is common with these. Our .02 is that the Duolians / Triolians from this era are some of the best sounding if not the best sounding Nationals of all time. Very Cool.
