1958 Fender Stratocaster. Reserve if any on this will post tomorrow. It is pretty safe to say that it is no reserve at this point, as bidding is at 15K. This is a featured item in Heritage Auctions Beverly Hills February 4 Vintage Guitars and Musical Instruments Signature Auction. Seller states that it is a 100% original under the bed find. Read the description and check out the pictures here. Whistle clean looking. We do wish there were some pictures of the guitar disassembled. With original ashtray, strap and cord as well as OHSC. Very, very cool.
1958 Fender Stratocaster – Heritage Auctions
1950s National 1133 Student Model in a no reserve auction. Seller is calling it ’50s. It could be early ’60s. No Biggie one way or the other. Seller states the nut has been shimmed up to facilitate slide playing. There is a good picture of this. It looks like a nice job that could be undone easily. Seller states the tuners are Kluson three on a strip and he is not sure if they are original. We’re not sure either looking at the pictures. They look newer than they should. No Case. Decent looking example. Cool.
